Did you know?
The average American adult stays on a diet for 1.8 months.

I am 18 years old and a student at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. I just graduated high school where I was a regional champion and all-state wrestler at 215 lbs.

Background

As soon as I turned 12, I started working out at a local gym called Mike's Olympic Gym. Let me just say that this place is the bomb. I have been there ever since, and the atmosphere is perfect for any hardcore athlete. Throughout high school, I transformed myself from a pudgy below average wrestler into an all-state wrestler by my senior year. This was done mainly with powerlifting workouts, and lots of cardio.

I went from 230 lbs at about 25% bodyfat my sophomore year, into 205 lbs. around 14% bodyfat by my senior season. After wrestling was over, I fell in love with bodybuilding and haven't looked back ever since. It's only been 6 months since I started, but I have read so many books and magazines to learn about this intense sport. I plan to hit the stage next April for my first show. Hopefully I can find a local show that has a teenage division.
