 Why I Did This
For my health - I was very overweight, and felt sick all the time among other things. I wanted to improve my health as well as my appearance. I wanted to set an example to my wife and 3 wonderful kids, to let them know that health and exercise are very important at every age.

 What Got Me Started
I have had several knee surgeries on my right knee. I spent approx. 2 years laying in bed, on walkers, in a wheel chair and on crutches. My muscle all over my body became so very weak and I gained a lot of fat. I had a very bad sleeping disorder from all the drugs I was on for my knee pain - I was very lucky to get 3 to 4 hours of sleep at night.
After surgery, I was told I needed to have Physical Therapy on my leg. So I went 3 days a week for this "fun". It was very painful at first but soon I really started to enjoy lifting. My body responded quickly and I was then hooked! Now was the time to get the fat off and get my old butt in shape!

When & How Long It Took
I got serious in June 2006. I was really loving the workouts but still was eating Chinese buffets and drinking a lot of Pepsi Cola. (my weakness). I contacted Chuck Rudolf, www.dietsbychuck.com, and he helped me with my food choices. Nothing crazy or hard at first, but soon it got strict. With Chucks help, I have made some kick butt changes. My results are from a few things that I swear by.
Keys To My Success:
1. Diet:
2. Supplements:
I had the best fat loss results with Syntrax FYRE. This awesome supplement controlled my appetite big time.
My best muscle gains were from taking: Scivation Xtend with Syntrax Nectar, I drank this mixture during my workout.
I have also had wonderful results with Anabolic Xtreme Mass FX / Hyperdrol stack. This has helped me put on muscle and add strength as I continue to cut fat, which is a very hard thing to do.
3. Water:
I get at least a gallon a day in EVERY day. This helps keep my body fresh and flushes out any impurities.
4. Desire:
I had the drive and desire to make these changes. I didn't let what people had to say bother me. There are those that will criticize you and make rude comments about your goals. Leave them behind and go forward. Leave the haters in the dust.

 My Diet
A sample of what I eat daily looks like this:
Meal 1:
- 6 egg whites, 1 whole egg
- 1 cup spinach
- 2oz chicken breast
- 1/2 grapefruit
- Almonds
- Fish oil
- Scivation Sesamin
Meal 2:
Meal 3:
- Chicken breast
- 1 cup green beans
- Almonds
Meal 4:
- Chicken breast
- 1 cup green beans
- 1/2 grapefruit
- Almonds
Meal 5:
Meal 6:
- Chicken breast
- 1/2 cup green beans
Note: Every 18th meal is a carb load meal in which I replace Meal 6 with
- 1 cup green beans alone.
- Mix the following:
3/4 cup oatmeal
2tbsp raisins
Almonds
Splenda for flavor
- Mix:
Sweet potato and peanut butter (surprisingly it is very good!)
 Supplements
I do 40 min cardio in the early morning on an empty stomach, but I drink Lemonade flavored Nectar and Lemonade flavor Xtend while I do cardio. I also drink this same mixture during my workout. This combination has really helped my body to recover and grow a lot better.
