Although I was active as a teen and a young man, I had become severely overweight as an adult. I was so far out of shape it was crippling. What got me started? I'm not sure how but a beautiful young woman came into my life in 2002. I was about 380 lbs. at the time and she never left my side as I ballooned up to 460 lbs. I knew she wasn't going anywhere no matter what. I had already let my weight make a mess of my life; I could not let it make a mess of hers as well.
I chose to become a better man for her. Once I got started I remembered the man I had once been and I chased my goals with a passion.
I had a VBG and did cardio for one year. I worked my way from one step at a time to six miles a day. After I lost about 200 lbs. I began to feel like a man again, it was then that I started weight training.
Fitness is now my life. The young woman of whom I spoke is now my wife, and is into the fitness & figure side of bodybuilding. If I can afford to do something about the skin issue I would like to compete at the NPC level someday. Ultimately I want to make bodybuilding and fitness a career.
My diet consists of protein shakes, fish, chicken, and asparagus. There are a couple of other foods thrown in but not much.
I weight train five days a week and do cardio six days a week. I am in the process of changing my training to add more mass. I would be happy to help anyone who is willing to put forth the effort to get this far, just contact me on BodySpace.
