Why I Got Started
I started young at 14-years old. I love bodybuilding ("culturisme" in French). I don't know why but as I am a real believer, I think God gave me the opportunity to become what I am. It was my destiny!
How I Did It
I went to train in a small gym where I met my actual best friend Raoul Sanchini. He helped me a lot and I can't ever thank him enough!
I never eat a lot when I prepare a contest, only 100 grams of carbohydrates, 30 egg whites, fish, turkey, vegetables and whey protein. I only eat carbohydrates in the morning and at lunch time. My favorite cheat meals are 4 cheese pizza and ice cream!
I train only 4 times per week. I cannot do heavy exercises or squats anymore because of shoulder and knee pain. I never do cardio when I am on a diet because my legs are not big so I prefer to eat less.
Suggestions For Others
I would like to advise young people and tell them that life is long, do not train too hard! Look at me, I am in the best shape of my life at 47! I want to thank my wife Linda. Without her help, I wouldn't be able to go on. She helps me a lot. God gave me this body to keep on training all my life! I want to thank my parents who gave me the genetics.
