I wasn't feeling healthy as I was extremely overweight. What's worse is I'm a teacher and I wanted to portray a good and healthy image to my students. My beautiful wife was the person that got me started. She insisted that we should lead a healthy lifestyle back in 2004; she came up with an idea that we should go stairs climbing at a nearby building every morning consistently.
I followed my wife's plans and suggestions. We changed our diet and made it simple yet healthy in terms of nutrition. Everything went perfectly well, we woke up every morning at 7am, had a light meal and went to climb the stairs for 30 minutes. Whether it's rain or shine, we'll be awake by 7:30 am and be at our destination for stair climbing without fail. That's how disciplined I have become with the encouragement from my wife. We will hit the gym in the late evening after work to de-stress from the hectic working life we have. It relaxes my mind.
Supplementation for me is pretty simple. It's just amino acids and whey protein powder for the recovery of my muscles. I've gotten great gains and recovery by using Champion Nutrition Pure Whey Protein and Optimum Nutrition Amino tablets.
My diet is simple yet healthy as said. Meals are 2-3 hours apart.

My training consists of light lifting; I wouldn't want to hurt my joints from the heavy lifting as age is catching up with me. I train 3-4 times a week while stairs climbing is done every single day.
My training consist of 3 exercises, 2-3 sets each body part. Exercises consist of compound and isolation exercises which I will rotate around every 6-8 weeks. I believe in giving my muscles a fresh feeling, instead of giving it the same kind of workout.
Don't give up as there is no limitation for fitness in terms of age!
