I am making plans on competing in 2003 in one of the Muscle Mania events. My goal is to completely rock the natural bodybuilding world with size in 2003. So for all of 2002 and half of 2003 all I will be doing is muscle building. No cardio, no dieting only building. In my future progress videos you will notice that I am carrying a little extra body fat level than most bodybuilders but this is what works for me. I have always had a fast metabolism and have the ability to loose body fat very fast so I have found this to be the most efficient way for me to build muscle. This is a must for me so that I can compete at the size I am shooting for. I get comments from people on why I don't loose the fat but right now it would really set me back on achieving my goals if I were focused on cutting down. So I am suffering through this for now but it will be justified in the end. I have seen many body transformation projects like this, some people using steroids, some not but either way it's always very interesting and fun to follow. Now I am not so naﶥ to believe that I will add 25-30lbs of muscle but I do expect great gains nonetheless. My goal is based on using a good supplement and nutritional programs. I will be saturating my body with supplements all day long, constantly giving my muscles food throughout the day. I keep a daily journal of my training days and have a update video every 2-3 weeks in which I will talk about my progress, how I feel and hit some poses. The Supplements The base supplements for this "8-Week Mass Cycle" will be Big Cat's Anabol-X and Megabol-X. I have read the reviews of these and needless to say I am stoked about trying them for the first time. Here is a complete list of the supplements and doses. Anabol-X - 4mls after training (2mls applied to each body part trained), 4ml before bed Megabol-X - 1 cap 3 times a day Universal Uni-liver - 3 tabs 4 times a day Optimum 2222 Amino - 3 tabs 4 times a day Optimum ZMA - 3 caps prior to bed Higher Power Creatine - 10g post workout, 10g afternoon Eclipse 2000 Complex 24 - 2 tabs a day EAS Simply Protein - 3 servings daily, 1 post workout, 2 with meals Sportpharma Thermadrene - 2 caps prior to training The Diet Now my mass building diet is very different from most bodybuilders. Most will preach to you that protein is the key, but I take a totally different approach to a mass diet. I think a high carb diet is the key to adding slabs of muscle. Carbs keep the muscles full, which makes them stronger, which allows you to lift heavier weights, which leads to more muscle growth. I will keep my protein intake to 50g a day! Just kidding, I will be getting around 300-350g of protein daily. So here is the diagram I will follow for my diet. It will change a little from day to day but this is the foundation for this program. I will however get the bulk of my carbs from lunch and supper. 4:30 pre workout Universal Uni-liver - 3 tabs Optimum 2222 Amino - 3 tabs Sportpharma Thermedrene - 2 caps Megabol-x - 1 cap 6:30 am - post workout - meal #1 2 eggs, 3 whites 1 bowl cereal 1 EAS Simply Protein Eclipse 2000 Complex 24 - 2 tabs Higher Powers Creatine - 10g Optimum 2222 Amino - 3 tabs Universal Uni-liver - 3 tabs Apply Anabol-X 9:30 am - meal #2 1 pack oatmeal Mixed veggies Megabol-x - 1 cap Lunch - meal #3 Doesn't matter just a lot of it Optimum 2222 Amino - 3 tabs Universal Uni-liver - 3 tabs 3:00 pm - meal #4 ? cup of rice 1 EAS Simply Protein Higher Powers Creatine - 10g 6:00 pm - supper - meal #5 Same as lunch Optimum 2222 Amino - 3 tabs Universal Uni-liver - 3 tabs Megabol-x - 1 cap 9:00 pm - meal #6 1 bowl cereal 1 EAS Simply Protein Optimum ZMA - 3 caps prior to bed Apply Anabol-X 1.5-2 gallons of water daily The workout: There will be nothing special about my training. I will just push myself to failure on each set with heavy, heavy weights. My split will look like this: Day 1 - Shoulders/Traps/Calves Day 2 - Chest/ Bis/Tris Day 3 - Back/Calves/Forearms Day 4 - Legs Day 5 - Bis/Tris/Calves Day 6 - off Day 7 - off Notice that I will be training my arms twice a week. On Day 5 I will use my hardcore arm routine but on Day 2 I will superset bis and tris for 3 sets of 10 for 4 exercises. That's it. The goals have been set but can they be reached in only 8 weeks by a natural bodybuilder? I say they can and will. Just you wait and see. Todd Blue
