Why I Got Started

One of my friends always tried to get me to go to the gym with him. I wanted to get in shape, I just always put it off. I started going to my school's gym every morning but I just got bored of going by myself so I got a membership at the gym my friend went to. After my first work out there I was hooked.

I saw all the pictures of the local bodybuilders on the wall and I just wanted to have perfect bodies like them. Every time I walk in the gym now, I see all those pictures and I use those pictures for motivation. Now, my goal is to get my body to look like them.

I Wanted To Get In Shape, But

How I Did It

I started out with lifting weights 5 times a week followed by cardio and no diet. In no time I was losing weight but not to the extent I wanted. I realized if I wanted to look like a bodybuilder I would have to eat like one so I took on 6 meals per day and I tried lipo 6. It worked awesome!

I was losing weight, building muscle and starting to get into the heavy weights. When I started to plateau, I took on another supplement and used protein as a meal supplement and cut out every single kind of junk food. I started going to the gym two times per day, five times per week.

In No Time I Was Losing Weight.

In the morning, I would do 1 hour of cardio. During the evening, I would lift weights. I am now done with 2-a-days but I still go to the gym minimum of 5 days per week. I am more addicted than ever and I am still working on building more muscle. I have been working on this for 8 months but it has turned into something I cannot live without.

Try to find something that will keep you motivated and use that to your advantage. You have to be doing it for the right reasons. I tried countless times to lose weight for the wrong reasons and it got me nowhere.
