Shane Giese's Video & Supplement Review

Shane Giese reviews the Feldman Brother's training video, MAN Bodyoctane, Xtreme Formulations ICE, ISS Research Micellar Matrix, Next U-Turn Bars and much more...

Have you ever wondered what it takes to be an NPC Teen National Bodybuilding Champion? Well this is your opportunity! The Feldman Brother's Training Video shows Kraig being trained by his older brother Brett (2000 NPC Teen National Bodybuilding Champion). It starts 6 weeks out from the show, hits it's climax when Kraig wins the Teen Nationals, and ends when Brett and Kraig chill in Venice Beach to chat with IFBB Pro Bob Cicherillo and do a photo shoot.

This video explains Kraig's pre-contest diet to a "T". It goes so in depth with all the training and diet that you could actually replicate his whole contest preparation for yourself just by viewing the video!! Brett also mentioned at the end of the video that if you had any questions regarding anything with Kraig's preparation that you could email Brett or Kraig personally (email available at: www.feldmanbrothers.com).

This video impressed and inspired me so much that I decided that I would have Brett train me for the 2005 NPC Teen Nationals! I recommend this video to everyone, especially teens that are interested in competing or have competed before.

The preparation outlined in this video created two Teen National Bodybuilding Champions from the same family!! Becoming a champion doesn't happen by accident. There is a formula to become a champion and this is THE FORMULA!!

This is by far the best supplement I have used, ever. My strength increase on this product slightly exceeded what I experienced on creatine monohydrate and dicreatine malate products.

My barbell squats went up 10 pounds, barbell rows went up 10 pounds, military press went up 10 pounds, standing calf raises up 20 pounds, and calf presses on the leg press machine went up 40 pounds!! All of my other exercises went up by 1-2 reps and/or 5-10 pounds. This was all in the first week of using the product!!

MAN Bodyoctane doesn't cause cramps or bloating like creatine does. This is why it's perfect for athletes. My endurance skyrocketed on this product and lactic acid buildup was decreased, especially in my higher rep sets. There is definitely a big future for this product!!

I took this product twice a day while cutting down for my last competition. While I couldn't tell for sure the effects of the product, I believe it cut down on soreness and helped with recovery.

I didn't expect to feel a difference from taking this product though because it's an essential amino acid/glutamine supplement.

It served it's purpose well by adding essential amino acids and glutamine into my diet without all the other calories I would get normally by eating food or taking protein supplements.

I used this product as a meal right before bed during my pre-contest prep. I was happy with the ingredients and price. It was the least expensive micellar casein protein supplement that I could find and provides 25 grams of protein per serving with only 2 grams of fat and 4 carbs.

The reason for taking casein protein before bedtime is because it takes up to seven hours to digest and won't leave my body in a catabolic state while you sleep. The taste was a little funny, but I wasn't too concerned about that. I was more concerned with preserving my muscle, which took place during my pre-contest diet!

I'm not going to review the effectiveness of this product because it would be impossible to determine any effects from a protein bar used as a meal replacement. I will review the ingredients and the taste of the product.

This bar contains 30g of protein, which is about normal for a protein bar. It has eight grams of fat, four of which are saturated fats. It has 26 grams of carbs, which mostly come from gelatin and glycerine. So as far as the ingredients go, it's pretty much a normal protein bar.

But as for the taste, it's very disgusting. I bought these bars with the understanding that they were some of the best tasting bars on the market. I could barely even get these down!! I remember trying to down one in the movie theatre and I felt like throwing it up. There are a lot better bars out there in flavor and in ingredients.

Now these are my type of protein bars. Each bar contains 42 grams of protein! That's more than any other bar that I'm aware exists. The downside to this product would have to be the 5 grams of saturated fat, but that's still normal for a good tasting protein bar and these bars tasted great.

These are my favorite protein bars due to their taste, protein content, and the fact that they only contain one gram of sugar per bar and have solid ingredients.

These were the best tasting protein bars that I have ever tried!! The Cookies and Cream flavor was delicious. I couldn't believe how good they tasted until I looked at the ingredients on the back of the package.

They weren't very bodybuilder friendly with only 20g of protein and 36g of carbs (mostly from corn syrup). They also have 6 grams of fat and 3.5 grams of saturated fat per serving, which is a lot for a protein bar with only 20g of protein.

The only time I would recommend eating one of these would be before exercising for convenience purposes only or if you have a hard time eating other protein bars because of the taste. I wouldn't recommend substituting one of these bars for a meal.

I've tried the apple cinnamon and the lemon cheesecake and both flavors are delicious. Each bar has 24 grams of protein and only 4 grams of impact carbs per serving. Total fat is 5 grams and saturated fat is 3.5 grams.

Whenever I go on vacation, I always buy a box of protein bars to take with me for convenience so I won't have to be thinking about food while on vacation. I think these bars would be perfect for that because you could eat them as a snack and not get lots of impact carbs or fat into your diet.
