    We are living under high pressure society in a stressful world with more threats than ever exposed to the human race. But the biggest threat is not war, terrorism or global warming. It is obesity.

    The rate of heart disease, osteoarthritis, diabetes, cancer, etc., are currently increasing faster, and the scariest thing is that our lifespan is decreasing. It is now more important than ever time to take action. We owe our younger generation a future just as bright or even brighter than our own.

    To do this you have to put yourself as number one. It might sound selfish, but the most selfish thing you can do is to not exercise and look after your health.

    If you want to be kind and thoughtful to your children or spouse, then take care of your health so you can have energy to play with your child, appear attractive to your partner, be a role model for others around you, be more productive, more inspiring to work colleagues and add more years to your and your children's life. Only you can change your family's lifestyle.

    Our children follow our behavior and adapt easily to the environment around them, so let's make it a happy and healthy one.

    In this new video series, I will share some small, easy steps that will help make "you" the number one priority and help you become a healthy, glowing ray of energy, and a reflection that you and others will want to be around. You are what you eat!

    The purpose of my videos is to open your eyes, to make you think when you plan your food intake and how to shop for groceries with a healthy mind. Also, find the joy of cooking your own food and knowing what goes into your body will make you feel like a better person. Make the cooking a family event and have some quality time together, this will help your children, friends or family become more aware of the importance of food - why and what we need to eat to stay healthy and away from the doctor.

         1. Clean Up Your Environment.

      To change your lifestyle you need to change your environment. Humans are very easy distracted and tempted. Keep your environment clean from toxic and unhealthy food by cleaning out your fridge, freezer and pantry to make sure your eyes can't catch the temptations to give you cravings.

      What is good or bad? If you can't pronounce the ingredients on the back of the package, how is your body going to recognize it, break it down, and use to for fuel and repair for your body? Let's learn together how to read the back of the food packages.

         2. Time To Fill Up - Let's Go Shopping!

      Now it is time to fill up our fridge, freezer and pantry with fresh and as much unprocessed food as possible.

      Perimeter shopping is an important term which makes us aware of where in the store you find the healthy vs. the unhealthy food. In most stores you find the fresh, non-processed food in the perimeter (the outside frame) of the supermarket and in the center of the store you find aisles of processed (made by human hand) and mostly unhealthy foods (except for oils and grains that also are situated in the center).

      Try to shop the outside of center first before you choose the best options for your needs in the center. Plan your meals you are cooking for each day and write a shopping list before you go to the store to make sure you don't buy unplanned foods.

         3. Turning The Ingredients Into 3 Meals.

      I will show how to make three healthy and less time-consuming meals that will keep our body stay fueled for the whole day. To save time, cook for several days worth of food at same time and freeze it, that way you will never be without when you need it, even if time is stressful.

      No more excuses, it is time to make your own food and give your body what it deserves, presuming you want a longer healthy life without frequent visits to the doctor's office for heart disease, cancer, diabetes, osteoarthritis, and stupidity - yes, being healthy can even make us smarter!

      Your body is your castle. If you treat it badly now, you will have to restore it earlier than you think. If you treat it well, you will stay young for a long time and have more energy to enjoy life and family.
