Mr. Hefferon is currently the Research Director for The Healthy Back Institute LLC and Living Well Nutraceuticals LLC and continues to be sought after by world champion athletes from all over the world as a sports massage therapist...

Background

In 2003 he co-founded The Healthy Back Institute and co-wrote the only international recognized self-assessment and self-treatment program for back pain called Lose the Back PainTM. Mr. Hefferon is currently the Research Director for The Healthy Back Institute LLC and Living Well Nutraceuticals LLC and continues to be sought after by world champion athletes from all over the world as a sports massage therapist in Maryland.

Mr. Hefferon's life philosophy has always been live for the purpose, hold the vision and set small goals that can be achieved everyday, for he believes life was meant to be lived, not endured. In his life he has climbed mountains, jumped out of perfectly good airplanes, surfed every tropical storm to hit the East Coast of the US between 1985 to 2000... He also ran a marathon and raced... and wrecked mountain bikes at speeds faster than 40 mph. Today, at age 40, he is training in Brazilian Jujutsu, one of the most versatile Mixed Martial Arts in the world under the legendary professor Pedro Sauer.

He draws inspiration from real life examples of how ordinary people can overcome anger, fear, betrayal and frustration and from that basis has developed practical solutions for beating the curse of inevitability thinking by helping clients find their own inspiration in the form of taking responsibility for self.

He is regularly featured on the radio and has been published on hundreds of leading web sites including: Dr. Laura.com, About.com, Selfgrowth.com, E-Diets.com, Femlive.com, Cleverparents.com, exploringwomandhood.com, Wellness.com, Sheknows.com, Gleemagazine.com.
