Is great for teens and young adults with time on there hands everyday. If you have a busy schedule, this may not be the plan for you. However, the diet is easy to follow and not hard to transition too. REMEMBER: When buying supplements don't always rush to get the supplements this program suggests. Just take note of the needed ingredients and look for the best/most effect supplements. Although this is a great FREE workout program given to you thru BodyBuilding.com, there is still money to be made somewhere.

Overall: 9/10, If you have the time, and stick to everything Dr. Stoppani says and does you will definitely see results!

I started week two of phase one last night. I increased the weight and lowered the reps as JIm instructed, it was easy to reach failure during the rest pause set. This is not a workout for the faint hearted. If you put the effort in, your body will have no choice but to grow and get stronger.

Just started this program, and I am really excited to follow someone who actually breaks workouts down using biology rather than bro-science.

After looking through the program, I noticed there aren't any deadlifts or any lower back training exercises. Am I mistaken?

About to start week 4 of microcycle 1. Although I haven't seen a ton of weight gains (i have always had trouble putting on weight and cant seem to break the 140lbs mark) I have notices some muscle growth especially in the arms and chest along with strength increase. Hoping by the end of the workout to see a definite transformation. Oh and I have only been lifting for about 3 months now, but I would say this program will provide results if you follow it even somewhat correctly

Hi guys, just one question, in the rest pause set do i keep rest pausing until i get to the 12-15 or do i just do one rest pause, say for example if i hit failiure at 5 reps i rest for 15 secs, and then fail again after another 5 reps giving me 10 reps total, do i stop there or do i rest pause again and get out another 5 to make it up to 15 reps total.

.

only do rest pause once on your last set..try to push to failure..it dosent matter how many reps you do the important thing on rest pause is to go till failure.

great program. i've already put on 6 lbs in 1 month and my shirts are getting tight. even people i see regularly have asked if i've been doing something different at the gym. i work full time, have four kids, and play guitar at church, so i cant always follow the diet or work-out schedule exactly. with that being said, it is still a very effective program for building size and strength quickly even if you have to flex your schedule a bit.

Currently on phase 1 week 4. Been noticing strength gains and some growth and definition. However, I noticed my arms somehow looked as if they shrunk in size. My biceps went down half an inch. I'm not sure if this is due to muscle loss or fat loss.

Anyone, please advice.

Have only been taking a protein shake before and after workout so the long list of supplements seems a bit much to take but from what i seen here, it works :P

This workout plan seems great! The only thing is that the supplement stack, in order to sustain the amounts suggested over a 12 week period, would end up costing roughly $970. Is there a cheaper alternative/ are there some things I could shave off of the supplement stack and still be o.k.?

Hey, monitor you diet and make sure you are putting in enough of the good quality calories. If you are not taking your supplements ( fish oil, multi-vitamin etc ) your body doesn't get a good chance to recover before your next workout. You have to change a lot of things not just for this workout, but for any other one that you pick.

For those who doubt, let me just say that I am plus 10 pounds in four weeks (started at 172 lbs) . I missed a couple of days but I don't think that should be a big deal. First and foremost, the thing that I have learned , and so should everyone, is that growing happens in the kitchen. I made a complete change in what I put in my body , no empty calories and ingesting enough protein spread out through the day. Train hard, eat smart. Stick with the workout even when they start to feel monotonous, I guarantee that you will see some significant change

Hi,
I just subscribed to bodybuilding and in "Find a plan", I chose Muscle building - Teen (I'm 18yrs old). Between the 4 plans, Kris Gethin's plan and Jim Stoppani's plan seem like the bests. I wonder which one should I take to gain weight and muscle (I'm really thin). Is Kris' program only for people who want to loose weigh or it would be good for me that wants to gain weigh and muscle ? Should I go with Stopanni's program? Like, which one is the best to build muscle when you are a thin 18yrs old teenager who is new in town ?

Kris Gethins and this program will both build muscle, Kris is burning fat and building muscle at the same time because he is gigantic, if you just have the correct nutrition either program will be fine, I personally took Kris, Gethin's grocery list and meals and I am doing shortcut to size.

Depends on how hard you work. But you do spend 3 out of the four days on upperbody excercises so It definantly is all the upper body you nedd, besides you should be lifting to make gains everywhere not just your upper body.

Out of these which is the most important im trying to gain weight i already have the whey protein, casein, amino acids, fish oil, no.3, and the multivitamin. I am a little concerned about the CLA because it says it promotes weight loss and i read alot of reviews and they all lost weight which is the opposite of what i want to do. I can not afford to take all of these so is what i have ok for this 12 weeks work out

You definitely need the protein and casein. That is a must for everything. Fish oil is pretty cheap. The only one I don't take is the CLA because I don't have much fat anyways. If you are trying to gain weight and can afford it, I recommend the Mass Gainer powder by Optimum Nutrition.

Same as rest pause but with less weight. When you're done the last set drop the weight a bit, rest for 15-20 seconds, and go until failure.

During rest days, is it okay if I only do jog for 15 - 20 minutes? Not hiit just jog. Because I have hard time catching my breath.

I am not one to comment, but this program deserves it. I am currently in Phase 2, week 2 and I have seen great results. More muscle, more defined and more strength! I hightly recommend this program to anyone considering it.

hey guy I am on the last week of phase 2. I went from benching 170lbs at the start of this plan to benching 185 for the first three reps of my last week of phase 2 and I felt so strong I went for the 205 for my last set on that day got one on my own and a couple assisted. huge gains for a guy that has not worked out in over 6 years. that huge increase in gains goes for all my workouts can't wait to finnish off this last phase best of luck guys but you don't need it if you stick to the plan!!!!!

on a quick note i lost 8-10lbs during the two months so far as well.
