Welcome to the Body Shop! Body shops are places where hard work and balance all play a part in the design of a fantastic machine. We're not talking a shop for cars, but rather a shop where one of the hottest bodies is found. Holly is that machine--a bodybuilder with the physique of a model.

BB.com: What is your full name?

Holly Ann Martin.

BB.com: When and where were you born?

I was born in Goddard Hospital in Stoughton, Massachusetts on May 1, 1974.

BB.com: Do you have any brothers or sisters?

Two brothers, one sister (I am the youngest of four).

BB.com: How was your childhood? Where did you grow up?

I had a normal childhood (happy) I grew up in Brockton and have lived in the same house since I was two and still live here with my parents and one of my brothers.

BB.com: What did you do after high school?

After high school I worked part time and attended a community college. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do and I'm still not sure unfortunately.

BB.com: How would you describe yourself?

I would describe myself as disciplined, hardworking, loyal, honest, sensitive, and focused. Sometimes I have tunnel vision when it comes to my working out and goals. I will put everything else off including relationships and sometimes responsibilities which can be bad.

BB.com: What started you in bodybuilding?

I started bodybuilding my junior year in high school--that's when I started working out. My brother bought me a gym membership for my 17th birthday and after that I was hooked!

BB.com: When did you actually get serious in bodybuilding?

I started competing in 1997. I wanted to see how well I could do because people were constantly telling me I was genetically gifted. So, I gave it a try and won my class in my first show.

BB.com: What is next on the plate for you?

I'm thinking of competing in the figure category and changing my look some, that is what I'm focusing in on now. I'd like to do a figure show this year and maybe one more bodybuilding show. I'm also planning to do a fitness video and change my website up a bit. I'm also planning to go back to school to get a business degree.

BB.com: What supplements do you use?

I really only use a protein powder and an energy/fat-burner ephedra pill, you know. I try to just get my nutrients from foods and a good multivitamin.

BB.com: What do you do when you're not bodybuilding or working out?

When I'm not working out I like to go shopping, to the beach, read, or rent movies or I'm working which is most of the time.

BB.com: Do you have any thoughts for those who want to start bodybuilding?

Thoughts for those starting bodybuilding: It's a very addictive sport so be careful and don't bother unless your willing to give 110% and be willing to sacrifice normal things in life.

BB.com: Is there something our readers do not know about you?

Readers don't know that my personality is much different than my appearance. I'm very down to earth and often shy and sensitive. I'm much softer than my exterior appearance and I am compassionate and caring. I get a lot of people especially men intimidated by me when they really shouldn't be.
