For the fifth year in a row, Joe and Ben Weider, and their partners at American Media Inc/Weider Publications, have authorized that active-duty military personnel with an ID card can attend the Mr. Olympia Wildcard Showdown, Ms. Olympia Figure, Ms. Olympia, and Mr. Olympia competitions free of charge.

The competitions will take place at the Orleans Arena & Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas, Nevada, October 14-16, 2005.

"As a sign of our support and appreciation for all they do, we are delighted to provide free tickets to members of the Armed Forces. Since 2001, over 3000 military personnel have attended the Olympia events as our special guest and we look forward to meeting many more this year," commented IFBB President Ben Weider."

One complimentary ticket will be provided to active duty military personnel upon verification of their military ID. Signs indicating where to pick up the tickets will be located near the ticket center at the Orleans Hotel prior to the competitions. There is a limit of 200 tickets per event for the following competitions:

1. Mr. Olympia Wildcard Showdown, Fitness Olympia & Figure Olympia
2. Mr. Olympia Prejudging
3. Mr. Olympia Finals
