Recipe Of The Week: Honey Pineapple Syrup!

Honey Pineapple Syrup

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup honey
Directions
  1. Combine cornstarch and pineapple juice in a saucepan.
  2. When cornstarch has dissolved, stir in honey.
  3. Place pan over medium heat, and stir for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-low, and add the egg substitute or egg whites.
  5. Cook for 1-2 minutes without stirring.
  6. Then, gently scramble, cook for 1-3 additional minutes. Remove the skillet from the heat, and cover to keep warm.
