We regard our visitors more like family rather than a customer. Their loyalty to Bodybuilding.com deserve nothing less than motivation, up-to-date information and first class supplementation.

Tropical Storm Fay did everything in its wrath to delay the shipment of supplements to 1000's of our customers but the employees of the Bodybuilding.com Florida warehouse had other ideas. Nearly all of the Tallahassee companies closed for the day, but knowing that it is our duty to return our customer loyalty, the Bodybuilding.com warehouse employees weathered the storm in order to make sure that everyone got their orders, and on time.

Several thousand people in the city were without power. Many businesses were closed because employees couldn’t come in. Homes and neighborhoods were completely flooded with entire sections of the city having to be evacuated.

Trees littered the sides of the roads, debris and water was everywhere. Main highways turned into rushing rivers. Fay had dumped nearly 14 inches of rain in the Tallahassee area.

What normally is a very quick drive turned into long and difficult journeys for the few Bodybuilding.com employees who were able to make it to work yesterday. Some homes were (and still are) only accessible by boat.

By noon only three employees had made it in to work. We were diligent on the phone and finally were able to find a few more employees who could make it in. By 1:00 we had ten employees working as fast as possible. All of the employees pulled together and packed every order.

Sean Sullivan, Bodybuilding.com's Assistant Warehouse Manager, had to take a boat to go to his house and get clothes just to have something to wear. Nonetheless he still managed to get to work and get his job done.

A special thanks goes out to the following Bodybuilding.com soldiers:

Bodybuilding.com's CEO, Ryan DeLuca, had this to say about the event:

"It's difficult times like this that really show a company's true character. Anybody can do things when they are easy, but only the best can come through when the going gets tough. That's why we are number one. We don't give up. Our customers depend on us and we won't let them down. Their health and fitness goals are too important."
