Marc Micozzi has worked to create science-based tools for the health professions to be better informed and productively participate in the new fields of complementary and alternative (CAM) and integrative medicine. He was the founding editor-in-chief of the first US journal in CAM, Journal of Complementary and Alternative Medicine: Research on Paradigm, Practice and Policy (1994).
He organized and edited the first US textbook, Fundamentals of Complementary & Alternative Medicine (1996), now in a third edition (2005), with Churchill-Livingstone/Elsevier Health Sciences. In addition, he has served as series editor for Medical Guides to Complementary and Alternative Medicine (also for Churchill-Livingstone/Elsevier) with eighteen titles in print on a broad range of therapies and therapeutic systems within the scope of CAM.
In 1999, he edited Current Complementary Therapies for Current Science Press, focusing on contemporary innovations and controversies, and Physician's Guide to Complementary and Alternative Medicine, for American Health Consultants.
He is Founding Director of the Informatics Institute for Complementary and Integrative Medicine in Bethesda, MD, working to educate policymakers, the health professions and the general public about needs and opportunities for integrative medicine to benefit all Americans. From 2003-2005, he served an interim appointment as Executive Director of the Center for Integrative Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.

Dave Harrison has studied, tested and proven the course to optimum health and fitness. As a retired professional bicycle racer, tri-athlete, and adventure racer- Dave inherently understands the need for proper hydration and diet to maximize performance.
Throughout the past 20 years, Dave has participated and finished in the top 10 of many of the most physically challenging endurance races throughout the world. "Extreme Sports" is one of the fastest growing segments of the sport industry. Dave has worked closely with numerous companies in negotiating sponsorships for adventure racing teams and professional athletes.

Kristine has raced all over the world in the challenging world of Duathlons and Triathlons. Her body is her business and the need for proper hydration and diet isn't simply a hobby for her.
Duathlon is an athletic event (not to be confused with biathlon) that usually consists of a running leg, followed by a cycling leg and then another running leg in a format bearing some resemblance to triathlons.
Kristine has established herself as a top tier female endurance athlete with 13 top 3 finishes in 2005 alone. She also has experience in the business side of the sport having negotiated a number of sponsorships.
