 Why I Got Started
I was tired of being overweight. I'm a stay at home mom and have 3 children. Type 2 diabetes runs in my family and I was worried that I might end up with it.

 Training
Every day I try something different. Most of the time, I work out with my husband or a friend. Monday is usually chest. I've found that free weights work better than machines. I only use machines when I don't have someone to spot me. Tuesday is legs, Wednesday is shoulders, Thursday is arms, Friday is abdominals, and Saturday I do whatever body part I feel needs extra work. After each workout, I do 35 minutes of cardio on the treadmill.
 Suggestions For Others
I had a hard time making the decision to lose the weight, but now I feel great. It's a lot of work, but it's worth it. Anyone that feels that they can't do it, just remind yourself that you can! You just have to make up your mind and do it. Push yourself and, if needed, seek the help of someone to push you harder.
