[ A ] Premium ingredients, unparalleled quality, straight-forward labeling, and outstanding performance.
[ Q ] Do you think you do as much advertising as some of your top competitors?
[ A ] Like anything else, there's a point of diminishing returns. Advertising is expensive. Companies that advertise excessively just end-up passing these costs along to consumers in the prices of their products. We feel that we do enough advertising to adequately educate about the benefits of our products and to keep them relevant in the minds of consumers.
[ Q ] What is your main marketing tactic (without giving away secrets) regarding advertising?
[ A ] We try to focus on quality over quantity. Our message is straight-forward, not overly hyped. We believe in letting the products and our reputation for quality speak for themselves.

Optimum Nutrition?
I know alot of people like ON's 100% Whey, but how good is the Classic formula? And what is your opinion of ON's other products?

[ Q ] What was the reasoning behind the pull-out posters of body parts? (which I thought was very clever, by the way)?
[ A ] Quite simply, inspiration leads to perspiration. By now, most people know what whey is and what it does. Our goal was to help them envision what our whey could help them do for their own physiques.
[ Q ] Who do you think is your main competition in the "Whey" category?
[ A ] We are our main competition. There are literally dozens (if not hundreds) of whey products on the market, but none has legitimately challenged our 100% Whey Gold Standard. And, we aim to keep it that way by consistently looking for ways to better our formula, the information on our packaging, and by increasing the number of sizes & flavors that we offer.
[ Q ] Are there any other products in your line you think will be a deserving winner this year, and why?
