Military Appreciation Award
An Honorable Sacrifice — Giving Back to Those Who Serve US

On April 24, 2012, SSG (Army) Christopher Walker
was hit by an improvised explosive device (IED), also
known as a roadside bomb.

The explosion did extensive damage to his face and
Christopher lost both his arms and his entire left leg.

He was thrown 30 feet by a blast that was designed to take out armored vehicles.

Tiana Staub, who nominated Christopher for this grant, says, "Chris is one of the happiest people I have ever met, even after this accident. He is still the same guy that I fell in love with." Tiana would like Christopher to have the opportunity to see the world and give people the opportunity to meet Christopher.

"Christopher makes an impact on everyone he meets. They say they are inpsired by his outlook on life and how thanksful he is just to have a second chance at living."

Bodybuilding.com and BSN will be
presenting Christopher with a
$10,000 travel voucher, $5,000 cash and
a $5,000 donation to the military charity
of his choice (Wounded EOD Warrior Foundation)!
