How I Got Started
My name is Ryan Suydam and I am from Boise, ID. My dad got me started weight training as a kid with some rag tag weights that he had laying around the house. I was always the runt of my football and baseball teams, so being one of the shortest I had to do something to stand out. Thankfully I was blessed with speed!
That was my saving grace in sports so I really focused on improving and getting quicker. Thus, I did a lot of leg training which prospered into a life or working out. I trained at home until my older cousin invited me to go to the local gym with him.
We started training at the Idaho Athletic Club in Meridian, ID which is still the gym of choice to this day! I am very thankful for my cousin; he really introduced me into the bodybuilding world. I started training for sports and then blew up! I fell in love with the thought of transforming my body, and it is a life long goal to continue down this road.

Work Background:
I am a customer service representative here at Bodybuilding.com. I have been an athlete my whole life but really got into Bodybuilding at the age of 15 with the help of my cousin. I love my job; I live my day to day life talking about what I am truly passionate about. I could not ask for a better job or company to work for.
