Having seen a lot of training DVD's by many of the pros, I have just been thrown back in awe of Mark Dugdale's new movie "A Week In The Dungeon" that was recently released, and filmed by Joel Barham and Nick De Palo. This movie takes you to 6-time Mr. Olympia Dorian Yates' Temple Gym in Birmingham, in the United Kingdom, where he trains Dugdale to, and through the pain barrier.
It all starts off in Seattle, WA, where you'll meet Mark's wife Christina Dugdale and the rest of the family. Mark explains why he's going to meet up with Dorian and train at his Temple Gym. Once in the United Kingdom, you'll see how they handle the cultural differences, and what goes terribly wrong the first few days after his arrival.
You'll get to see some extremely hardcore training footage, even though Mark is in contest prep mode at the time, which really makes you want to go to the gym right away. Most of the training scenes (which are all in black and white) include the set and reps ranges in the left bottom of the screen which I found to be pretty helpful, and furthermore Dorian explains a lot of principles, along with showing some interesting stretches that most likely helped him get that Mr. Olympia title 6 times, as you will hear why.
The scenes are very intense and motivating especially the part where Dorian takes Mark through an excruciating bicep workout, painful and explicit enough to make a Billy goat puke.

Close to the conclusion of the video, you'll also get a tour through Temple Gym by famous photographer Kevin Horton, producer of Dorian's video "Blood and Guts" and maker of most of the famous 93 black and white pictures of Dorian.
The DVD ends with some inspiring words from Dorian that really explains why Yates got to be one of the most successful bodybuilders in the history of bodybuilding.
My conclusion is that this DVD is definitely a must see; as a Yates or Dugdale fan, it's a blockbuster, and it's an awesome nitro boost to supplement with before your workouts!
