Fruits and Vegetables

By now you should be aiming to make vegetables a big part of your meals, and are occasionally having low calorie fruits for dessert after a meal.

In order to make sure that you're choosing the healthiest varieties, choose veggies that are brightly colored:

These vegetables are perfect choices and will pack the biggest nutritional punch.

For fruit, select low-calorie choices such as:

Stay away from tropical and citrus fruits, as they tend to be high in sugar calories. If you want some of these with your cheat meal, feel free to add them in.

If you can add brightly-colored produce to your plate each and every day, you know you are on track with your healthy eating plan.
