If I were talking about a normal persons holiday the words margaritas, sweet food, sunshine and maybe even one night stands might come to mind, but with the Olympia it's a different kettle of fish, as are its attendees. Bodybuilding fans or "Iron Warriors" have a different vacation in mind and that has proven year after year for many to be the Mr. Olympia.

The sweet smell of protein shake samples, a new gadget to help with grip strength, girls with ripped abs and guys with unattainable mounds of muscle are all ingredients on the menu that satisfy the appetite of muscle hungry vacationers. Yes, we are a different breed and we wouldn't want it any other way.

Two Mr. Olympia's Battle For Supremacy

The 2007 Mr. Olympia will be so sweet that this year's cake will have two servings of icing to swallow. On top of being witness to the largest show on earth with the largest bodies to chase it, for the first time in 13 years we have two Mr. Olympia's battling out for supremacy.

That day in the 1994 Dorian Yates was competing against the former champ Samir Bannout. The "Lion of Lebanon" was no match for "The Shadow" and as I recall didn't even get compared to Yates. 2007 is vastly different and superior in the respect that the two guys fighting for the Sandow are the biggest, and either one can take the whole show if the other is caught slipping. This is exactly what happened to Ronnie Coleman last year when Cutler came in at his best.

2006 showed us all that Coleman was in fact human had some very visible injuries but the muscle was less so, due to 12lbs of water that was hugging his frame like a long lost friend. The Olympia door was slightly ajar so Cutler stepped through and took the crown, but for how long? Coleman was visibly distraught of the outcome and has vowed that will he take back what is rightfully his come September.

Other Possible Winners

The focus has been predominantly based on "Cuts" and the "Big Nasty" by writers, fans, and the competitors but it isn't too far fetched to have someone fly under the raider and take the Sandow right from underneath their noses. Below are four of the guys that I believe that could make this happen. If you disapprove with my predictions, then step inline and voice your rants on the Bodybuilding.com forum or on my BodySpace page, I dare you.

-> Dennis Wolf:

    Dennis Wolf is a guy that could produce an upset here. I know that bodybuilding should be largely penalized for body parts that are missing and Wolf is a victim in this area of concern when judging the Germans back thickness and hamstring development, but it hasn't hurt the two reigning champs so far.

    Coleman hasn't exactly got prize winning calves and Cutlers waist isn't what you would call tightly tapered either. In essence, bigger surprises have happened, such as in '98 when Ronnie won his first Olympia when the previous year he was as low as eighth. Wolf has an awesome v-taper, very full muscle bellies, Levrone sized caps to his delts, and 28 year old good looks to wash these positive mixers down.

-> Victor Martinez:

    Third place finisher last year, Victor Martinez could upset the plans of both Cutler and Coleman if he should find the formula to getting diced. He isn't quite as massed as the top two but he has better overall muscle balance and symmetry which could work in his favor if this is what the judge's target on this thrilling night.

    I believe that Victor will have to beat their @sses with a condition card to make a huge enough impression to leap over the titanic traps of the two Olympians.

-> Melvin Anthony:

    Melvin Anthony gained 10lbs of muscle between 2005 and 2006 and boy did it show. His waist was still "Marvelous" tight but the extra luggage of sinew he carried was all in the right places, namely on his back and legs. When he was compared to Ronnie and Jay from the side he was very close to match point, but the sharp graininess needed at this level just wasn't there.

    If Melvin can repeat the evolution theory he has discovered and apply that to his chest and shoulders with the added benefit of dryly sliced separation, we could be a witness to a Mr. Olympia who can pose.

-> Gustavo Badell:

    Gustavo Badell has to be put into the mix purely for the fact that his genetics and mental ability are full of surprises. He doesn't enter a show focusing on anything other than winning which also seems to be his mindset when he strides into his office - the gym.

    He has finished in the top three here before and given condition and size attributes he has developed in leaps and there is no reason why he couldn't do it again.

    He hasn't made a big impact of recent but with a little more width to his back and flare to his thighs he can slip through if some of his competition are caught up with some last minute preparation conundrums. The only downfall in Gustavo's artillery is that his waist decides to follow the rest of his muscle that starts to expand.

-> Dexter Jackson:

    The wildcard I would like to throw into the bodybuilding hall of illusionists is Dexter Jackson. Jackson's AKA - "The Blade" should add "Mr. Consistency" to his title as he is always waiting in the peripheral perimeters of victory with serrated slices of sinew hoping to cut his way through to the pinnacle of mount Olympia.

    The only subject of matter faltering in Dex's attack plan is his lack of size and a track record of significant gains, but this is bodybuilding and who knows what breakthroughs will arrive where and when. If one arrives on Dexter's front door and is applied evenly throughout his physique, his condition can take care of the rest.
