Indian-Spiced Yogurt Rice
- Heat and mix the spices and seeds in a pan with non-fat cooking spray.
- Mix the rice with yogurt in a bowl and add the heated spice mix.
- Stir and serve.

There's no way the macro breakdown of this is correct. A FULL cup of cooked brown rice has ~45 grams carbs, how is it possible that .375 of a cup has 60 grams?! I doubt that the addition of spices drives up the carb count much.. Even if the nutrient profile on this page WAS correct, the calories only add up to 291.
Carbs should be around 17-20 grams if you follow this (consuming only half of the recipe).
Hey thanks for the input, and the correction! We just updated the macronutrient details. Did you know curry powder is made of much more than curry leaves? The raw leaves are a more pure nutrient and flavor source. Have you tried the recipe yet?
189wrestler thanks for pointing this out to them. The first time I saw the recipe I was like "nope moving on". With the better carb profileI'm going to try it this weekend. I love indian flavors and am always looking for a way to make the rice more interesting. I will probably make it with baked tofu as I am a vegetarian.
