Jim Britain

Background

I got started because I was blessed with bad genetics in the way of a slow metabolism so I started to work out and eat clean to try and turn it around.

In 2002 I decided to change my workout regimen and eating habits. By doing so I went from 210 lbs. at 30% bodyfat to 180 lbs. at 10%. That was still a little thin in my eyes at 5'11" so I've been packing on muscle ever since. I currently weigh 195 with 8-12% bodyfat all year around. This year friends talked me into entering the NGA Northwest Naturals Bodybuilding Competition here in Boise and I ended up getting 2nd place out of seven people in the Novice class.
