The Outdoor Summer Fun Workout!

Need an outdoor summer fun workout? Here it comes! This workout is for people who want to burn a lot of calories in a short amount of time with their own outdoor circuit training. It is not a get big workout; it is a get lean workout. Get out of the gym for a day and head to the nearest park. You are going to workout under the sun and take a break from the hustle and bustle of life.

Make sure to take at least a gallon of cold water and a towel for sweating. Prepare to sweat and feel the burn. This is a workout for experienced fitness individuals only. This is not a workout for beginners!

Here's your routine:

[ 1 ]
Start the workout off with a warm-up ten-minute walk.

[ 2 ]
After the warm-up, do a total body stretch.

[ 3 ]
Find a tree with a low strong limb and do three sets of pull-ups (front or reverse grip) until burn.

[ 4 ]
After the pull-ups, jog for ten minutes (65% MHR).


[ 5 ]
Take a quick minute break and do three sets of push-ups until burn.

[ 6 ]
Now take a ten-minute walk.

[ 7 ]
Find a park bench, steps or large rock and do three sets of dips until burn.

[ 8 ]
Now find a wide-open area and sprint for thirty seconds.

[ 9 ]
After sprinting do three sets of squats (with no weight) until burn.

[ 10 ]
Now sprint again for another thirty seconds.


[ 11 ]
Find a medium sized hill or incline and lunge up and down for three burn sets.

[ 12 ]
Now go for another ten-minute walk.

[ 13 ]
Your final exercise should be three sets of crunches (lead up to sky with chin and have knees and feet off the ground) until burn.

[ 14 ]
To end this routine, take a light five-minute cool-down walk.

This outdoor summer fun workout will burn calories, tighten your body, and by taking in some fresh air your spirits will be lifted. Do this type of a workout once every week or two to give your body some variety and a bit of change. Not all progress comes from just working out in a gym. Do not bore your body anymore! Take it outside once in a while to liven things up a little!
