Jaime "BiologyBabe" Girard is a certified (through the American Council on Exercise; 24/5; YMCA) personal trainer, certified Stability/Physio Ball Instructor, and group exercise leader. She works for a nationally known, non-profit Fitness/Wellness center in the Denver Metro Area of Colorado.
BiologyBabe was born and raised in Denver for the early part of her life; she ran away from a bad home and has lived throughout the country during her teens.
Today, Jaime is a student, majoring in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She likes to base her articles in science based information as it is hard to defer from the laws of physics and science when we are trying to make our bodies a perfect exaggeration of nature's design. After receiving her B.S. in Biology/Chemistry, Jaime hopes to go on to receive a Doctorate of Neurological Physical Therapy degree from one of the graduate schools in Colorado.
Strength training has provided me with the ability to create a stronger self. I am an avid believer that our bodies truly are a temple for the soul and our minds. I feel strong when I train, and that strength translates into inner strength and my mind is more able to function as a result I feel.
Jaime is a member of the National Physique Committee (NPC), and competed most recently this last June. She will be competing in three shows in 2006, as well as assisting other competitors in training and preparing for these shows.
