Recovery is the key to growth. I've said it before, and it's definitely no secret, but the importance of rest can't be overstated. You damage and destroy muscle fiber in the gym. Through ample rest and proper nutrition, you repair, rebuild, and synthesize new muscle fiber.

Your rest days aren't party days, so keep your nutrition locked and let your body heal. Spend some time chilling with friends and family, prep your meals, and have some fun outside the gym. If you really want to get ahead, review your training log and determine how much weight you want to add to your upcoming lifts.
