I love the circuits for cardio Purposes, but I frown Upon the smith machine :| it does not let you develop the strength that you can get doing normal squats, bench presses and deadlifts...
This is my second week. It's good to get the big three in your program. it's especially good to get it in circuit style. I am working my way up to 5 sets for everything. day 1 on the 1st week I did two, yet this week I did three. For the big3 (day2) i'm up to four. I try not to rest, so I have to do a clean after the dead-lift to get the weight in squat position. this adds to the exhaustion.
