Hey again my fellow bodybuilders and fitness enthusiasts! Another week has gone by and another crap load of threads have been put up on the message boards. Of that slew, these are the threads that deserve recognition. If you haven't been keeping up to speed with the message boards this week, these are the ones that you should check out, at least. Questions, comments, concerns, threats, etc. can be sent to elespa@mcmaster.ca. Thanks for reading and enjoy!
This week, we delve deeper into the dosing of MAN's Clout. Is it necessary to follow the direction to a T? Or is it okay to experiment around to maximize cost effectiveness? This thread will help you understand the importance of dosing and whether or not you're getting the most bang for your buck. The thread, started by 'Hornet!' has lots of great info and can be found here.
We've all had an embarrassing moment. Some have had several - too many to keep track of. No matter how many times you've been very, very embarrassed, there has always been that one time that you'll never ever forget. The one time you're face turned so red; someone could have easily mistaken you for a beet.
![]() This week's funniest thread is a collection of stories that turned people into giant beets. It was started by 't3ch' and he starts things off with a story of his own. So sit back, relax, and watch as hilarity ensues. Check it out here.
Everyone will go though a difficult time in their lives and won't know where to go from there. Some people turn to drugs and/or alcohol to forget their worries. There are just far too many people that look for an escape rather than a new lifestyle to help them cope. On the other hand, there are the people that turn to fitness to give themselves new hope. This week, a fellow member, 'imgonnagetya,' looks to us for help. He's a little stressed and hasn't had the best of luck in the past. He's started the thread here and has gotten great responses from people that have been in bad situations and have turned to bodybuilding for help. If you need some inspiration, or can offer some, check out the thread.
In the past, I've made the post of the week something to be proud of. A post that, on its own, contains lots of great information about the world of bodybuilding and fitness. However, this week I have chosen to crown the best post winner to someone that has posted one of the worst questions in a long time. Your friend and mine, 'Branson1314' has made his ignorant presence highly known with his awesome question. It's about creatine, and we all know that creatine questions have been beaten to death.
If he did any readying or using the ever-handy search function, our message boards would be a bit cleaner. Check out the post of the week here and enjoy the comments.
There are a lot of very reputable companies that have provided us with many awesome products. Some companies have been flawless with their product lineup and don't sell anything that hasn't gotten a good review. However, there are those companies that people know are good and that produce solid products but have that one product that just sucks. So, the question of the week is which company has one of those products that they really dropped the ball on and which product is it? You can thank 'Abu Misho' for the question of the week found here.
With the Olympia weekend coming up soon, I've decided to mix things up this week. Normally I choose threads with funny, cool, or muscle pictures. This week, I'm dedicating it to Ronnie Coleman. If you don't know who he is, you really shouldn't be on this site.
The pictures of him are insane and by the looks of it, he'll have his 8th Olympia. There are lots more pictures throughout the site, but I think that these are the most jaw dropping. Check out the thread and pics here. Thanks to 'gjoe' for posting these!
True of False: Milk is Awesome? True. Oh so very true. If you buy skim milk, it has little to no fat, it is high in protein, has low to moderate carbs, and is great for slow digesting protein needs before bed. Aside from the lactose intolerant bodybuilders, we all drink it. However, 'Kouta' has offered us some information about milk and why it's not so good.
I read the list, and to be honest, I'm not going to stop drinking milk because of the bad things. Most people probably won't but some might find it shocking or disturbing. The thread can be found here and some of the comments made are also very important to read. Got Milk?
