There are a lot of people in the music industry that get respect for the music they create. There are also a lot of people in that same category that have a great physique but it goes unnoticed. One of these people is 50 Cent. Now, to be completely honest, I don't like rap or 50 Cent, but I will give the man respect for his looks. He's in great shape and a lot of folks don't really notice that. Any-hoo, here is argument of the week and it is about 50 Cent, and whether or not he has a body worth talking about. Check it out here. Thanks to 'Loc' for starting this thread.
Water, as we all know, is the fruit of life. Well, maybe not literally, but considering water makes up more than two thirds of your body, you can just imagine how important water is in just about every process within the human body. Drinking water helps with muscle growth and that's why we hydrate ourselves. However, is it good to drink water with a meal? Some say yes, some say no. Click here to see the evidence and arguments for and against drinking water with a meal. Bon Appetit!
Post workout nutrition is extremely important. I've shared without threads about post workout meals on several occasions and with good reason. This week, I would like to focus on a thread regarding post workout carbohydrates. Is there such thing as too many carbs after your workout? If so, how much is too much and what is the optimum? We know that carbs are needed as energy for processes throughout the body and muscle recuperation is no exception. Check the thread out here, started by 'jigga 365,' and see if you're getting too much, or not enough, post workout carbohydrates.
New people on the boards can be a huge hassle to people that have been around the forums. They ask questions that have been asked a thousand times before and they ask questions that are absolutely ridiculous. This week, I give to you one of the most immature, uneducated questions I have come across in months. To go along with this, newbs love to have big arms fast. We know that it takes a lot of time, patience, and dedication. So here is 'v8splash' and here is his awesome question. Ugh, I'm not even going to tell you what he asks. Check it out for yourself.
Sports... Hockey is back, football is under way, and people are feeling the sports. To be completely honest, I'm watching the hockey game right now. The poll of the week is regarding sports: watching versus playing. Are you a natural athlete or a natural watcher? I used to play a lot of sports, but now I watch and lift. Are you a hockey player? Do you have 2-a-day practices 6 days a week? Or are you a double-header watcher? Take the poll and see how your fellow members match up with you. Here is the thread; take a few and see what others have to say.
Okay, so I ran out of topic names, but I think that this question asked by 'Magnus_9' is 'Best of Forum' worthy. Hair is important for how you look. I have the shag look and therefore don't get my haircut very often, if at all. In fact, most of the time, if I do need a haircut, I'll just trim it myself.
Anyway, What does your haircut look like? What do you ask your barber/hairstylist for when you go visit him/her? Here it is and even though you may not, I'd like to thank him for making this thread.
