Question Of The Week

Xtend Plus BCAA'S

In the last few months, BCAA's (Branched Chain Amino Acids) have been getting quite a bit of spotlight. If you've done any research on the topic you'll know that BCAA's are said to be a great recovery supplement. I, myself, have yet to jump on the bandwagon, but with what I'm hearing now, I think I should!

Random Thread Of The Week

WOW. Congratulations Scivation!

Okay, so this week's random thread is pretty cool. There are a lot of supplement companies out there that we've seen crash and burn in a very short time. Sometimes we're lucky enough to see a very deserving company make it in the big time. This week's random thread is basically a congratulatory thread for the company SciVation.

They have put out some awesome products and their supplements get great reviews. Though the price for their Xtend is a little steep, bodybuilders are buying it by the truckload. I, for one, will be a SciVation user for the rest of my life. Thank you 'Dosquito' for this thread. Congrats SciVation!

Nutrition Thread Of The Week

Best Brand Of Protien Before Sleep?

As fitness and bodybuilding buffs, we know the importance of nutrition. As every one of your heroes would say, 'Bodybuilding is 10% in the gym and 90% in the kitchen.' Is this true? Absolutely. Without proper nutrition, and especially timed nutrition, all those extra repetitions you did at the gym today were useless.

Getting the right blend of protein, carbohydrates, and fats at the right time in the day will not only fuel your body when it needs fuel the most, but it will help you build the muscles that you've been dreaming of at night. Too many people go to bed hungry or don't have the right type of protein that will last them the whole night. So what blend of proteins is best for overnight?
