Argument Of The Week

Best Steroid Alternative?

Molecular Nutrition X-Factor For starters, I'm surprised this thread got so many replies because this topic has been brought up a bazillion times. Everyone is looking for a supplement that will give them maximum gains. Everyone is looking for a product that will give them steroid-like results without illegality or side effects.

In other words, everyone is looking for the perfect product. So, what is the best alternative to steroids? There are a lot of replies to this post and there are a lot of arguments that go on in the thread about certain products.

Check it out yourself here if you want to hear a good debate, as well as learn about some products while you're at it. Thanks to 'secafekati' for this one.

Question Of The Week

Are Supplements Really Necessary?

We have discussed this a few times in the recent past, but I think it's a great discussion topic so I'm going to bring it back again. Are supplements really necessary? Last week we talked about the placebo effect and whether or not supplements really do what they say they do.

This week, 'Metamorphosis3' questions the topic and wonders whether or not the money people spend on supplements is really worth it. Check out the thread here and discuss for yourself.

Poll Of The Week

Stimulant POLL- To Stim Or Not To Stim Is My Question?

A lot of people have become reliant on stimulants in one form or another. A lot of people I know take stimulants on a daily basis to keep from going crazy. A lot of people don't take stimulants at all. This week's best poll is all about the stimulants. Do you take them? Do you like them? What do you use them for?

Did You Vote In The Stimulant Poll?

'USPlabs' has created this poll and gets the honor of being the best poll. I've subscribed to this thread because I'm interested in seeing how many of the members do use stimulants and how many do not. Check out the thread here and let everyone know what you think about using or not using stimulants.

Nutrition Thread Of The Week

HONEY: And Its Benefits

There are a lot of sweeteners out there that people use for lots of different things. Most people sweeten their tea with sugar. Me? I use honey. Why, you may ask? 'Cause it's awesome. It's sweet, natural (if bought from the right place), and it's high in antioxidants.

It appears that I'm not the only one that likes honey and honestly, I'm not surprised. If you're interested in the benefits of honey, or are just curious to see what others think about this little miracle, check out this thread. Thanks to 'olb33' for this one.

Picture Thread Of The Week

Supplement Pic

Pictures threads are pretty much my favorites for the BOF each week. Sometimes I won't find one worthy enough to make the weeks best, but this week I found an awesome one. For those of us that supplement anything, 'wiseguy1111' asked us to take a picture of our supplement stashes to post on the message boards.

To be honest, some of these stashes are pretty disappointing while some are ridiculous. I found myself wondering where these SOB's get all of this money from that allows them to buy all of these supplements! Anyways, check out the thread and pictures here and prepare to be amazed.

BSN Nitrix - Opinion Needed

This week on the topic of a singular supplement, I'd like to discuss BSN Nitrix.

Many people have been sucked in by the catchy advertisements and endorsements that BSN has.

Is their Nitrix product all that it's cracked up to be?

Sure, their NO-Xplode and Cell Mass got good reviews (two products which will burn a hole in your wallet), but is Nitrix just another propriety blend of theirs that is over-hyped?

Check out the thread here started by 'MuscleM4n'. There are some great points for and against the product. Cool.
