Fitness 360: Jen Jewell, Supplement Program

Before she gets on stage, Jen Jewell has to look her absolute best. To get there, she trains hard, eats right, and follows an air-tight supplement plan.

As a Cellucor athlete, Jen Jewell knows that supplementation can help anyone reach their goals. But, she also knows she can't rely on them to bring results. Jen's supplement philosophy stems from need. She knows what's necessary for show or photo-shoot preparation and uses supplements to help her get the right look.

Jen knows how confusing the supplement market can be. "With supplements," she says, "there's always going to be hype. You hear your friends talking about what they're using, or you see fancy ads for a pre-workout. The best advice I can give is to do your research. That way you'll know what you're actually getting."

Not every person needs the same supplements. Beginners need different products than serious competitors. For everyone, Jen suggests taking a multivitamin and buying protein powder. "Multivitamins are great because not everyone is going to get all of those key nutrients every day. Protein powder is perfect because you can get a clean, healthy source of protein into your diet. Protein powder just makes life easier."

This particular stack is for competition prep. When she's not prepping, Jen cycles off Super HD and takes only CLK. She only uses Cellucor L2 in the days before a shoot or competition. She also only uses pre-workouts on weight-training days. On cardio days, Jen sticks to BCAAs.
