Protein Of Choice
The worst problem on a fat loss diet is failing to meet your protein requirements, but eating nothing but chicken breasts, egg whites, and protein powder will grow stale quickly. This new product has been designed to spice this up and now offers you so many more options; all that will kill those cravings fast.
Whether it is ice cream that you want to dig a spoon into after a hard day's work or a gooey brownie that satisfies your need for something sweet, it's now completely possible to satisfy those desires while keeping your fat loss diet on track.
Recognize The Benefits
Selecting this product as one of your proteins of choice offers you many benefits. Here are just a few that you should know about.
The first benefit to this protein powder is the convenience it will offer you. Sure you may be able to make some reduced calorie brownies if you make enough substitutions and spend all afternoon cooking, but unfortunately most people just don't have the time to do that.
Many of the recipes that incorporate it contain just three simple ingredients and take less than three minutes to whip up. If you're in the mood for something cold during a hot summer's day or after a hard workout, you just have to reach into the freezer and grab one of your already-made snacks.
Unlike a protein shake that cannot be made ahead of time, using this product with recipes such as fudgesicles, ice cream, or frozen chocolate bars can be made days ahead of when you want to consume them.
Another very nice thing about this product is the flexible nutrition options it offers you. If you're on a strict fat loss diet you can make all the recipes with just the powder and water; note that this option will be less creamy than if you add the peanut butter as indicated by the recipe directions.
If on the flip side you're working towards the goal of muscle building and are really looking to pump up that calorie intake that can then be accomplished simply by either adding more nut butter to the recipe or tossing in other ingredients such as nuts, coconut, oats, or dried fruit.
Regardless of what goal you're trying to accomplish you can transform this powder to meet any calorie and macronutrient needs very easily.
Finally, the last major benefit this protein powder will offer you is versatility. What other protein powder allows you to whip up over fifteen different recipes? You're only limited by your own creativity when using this powder and it will satisfy any taste preference.
If you prefer something fruity flavored, that's easily accomplished by mixing in a teaspoon of sugar-free fruit flavored syrup to give a whole new taste to your recipe. Whether you create black forest brownies with cherry syrup and chocolate powder or creamy peach flavored ice cream, any sweet craving can be satisfied.
If it's a straight protein shake that you're looking for, you can still use it just as you would any other regular protein powder. It mixes well and tastes great, especially if you combine it with a sweeter source of carbohydrates such as dextrose.
Great Tasting Recipes
Below are two of the recipes we tested to see how this protein powder stacked up and whether it would hold true to its claims.
Protein Powder Fudgesicles:
Pour the entire container of FitFreeze powder into a large bowl and then add to it 12 cups of water and 1 cup of nut butter.
Blend this with an electric mixer and then pour into popsicle molds. Note that if you don't happen to have popsicle molds, ice cube trays can be used as well for smaller, bite-sized pieces for when the craving strikes.
Keep in mind this will make 54 servings, so unless you are going to make a very large batch or want to store the liquid in the fridge or freezer for later, make a smaller batch by halving or quartering the ingredients.
Pour the entire container of FitFreeze powder into a large bowl. Add 12 cups of water and 1 cup nut butter and then blend well with an electric mixer.
Pour a 1/2 cup into a small coffee mug or bowl and heat in the microwave for 30-40 seconds. You'll want the edge of the mixture to be cooked on the edges but the center should look quite soft and gooey.
If you like, top this with a small amount of low-fat whipped topping along with some fresh raspberries or strawberries.
Again note the large serving size of this recipe and adjust based on how much you wish to make.
Both recipes turned out very well, however, you really want to be sure not to overcook the protein brownies. The first time we tested it they appeared a little too gooey after the first 30 seconds, so we doubled the cooking time which didn't produce a desirable result.
Definitely stick to the recommended cooking time and allow to sit for a minute or two after it comes out of the microwave to let it set before eating.
So if you're tired of bland protein shakes, really consider this option. It's a great way to break out of your everyday rut and help prevent you from turning to that pint of Ben and Jerry's in the freezer or that package of chocolate brownie cookies in your pantry.
