Tell us a little about yourself. What is your position at Bodybuilding.com? How long have you worked here?

I have been with Bodybuilding.com for 9 months now, working as a graphic designer.

What was your workout/fitness/nutrition level before working at Bodybuilding.com?

I have always been very active. I began lifting weights during my freshman year of high school for sport improvement and haven't stopped since. Four years ago I began running short-distance races and 3 years ago I started my newest passion for Crossfit.

What does your workout routine consist of now?

I typically run 3-4 miles every other day and lift or do Crossfit 4 days a week.

Since starting at Bodybuilding.com, I have taken advantage of the amazing workouts provided on the site! I have become addicted to Pauline Nordin's Butt Workout and the Ashley Conrad Ab Circuit.

I get a lot of upper body focus in Crossfit, with workouts consisting of a lot of push-ups and pull-ups. My favorite thing about Crossfit is that the workouts are always different, which keeps things from getting monotonous. Plus, I find constant change up of the workouts keeps my body from hitting plateaus.

What is it like working at Bodybuilding.com? Does it create a helpful fitness environment?

There are so many events the company encourages us to participate in. I just ran the See Jane Run 5k with about a dozen other girls from work. With so many co-workers participating, it becomes a team event, which makes it fun. I have co-workers that I do Crossfit with, co-workers that I lift with, co-workers that I hike with, etc., etc.

There is a constant buzz around the office about workouts and nutrition. We are always exchanging tips and ideas, like trying Jamie Eason's Turkey Meatball Muffins and bringing other healthy treats into the office and sharing the recipes.

How does the Bodybuilding.com environment influence your health, fitness and appearance goals?

This work environment provides non-stop opportunities to learn and grow. We truly live the lifestyle that we promote. A couple guys on my team have been following the Kris Gethin trainer, and I have even joined them for a few workouts!

Collectively, we are always experimenting and fine-tuning meal plans and I am constantly able to try new supplements - to the point where I feel like I am placing an order every other week!

With great power comes a great physique.
(And great responsibility, of course.)

What are your co-workers like?

The employees are one of the best parts about this job - providing constant motivation and support. I always have a workout partner whenever I need one! A workout partner makes it ten times easier to make it to the gym on those days where you are lacking motivation.

Did someone from Bodybuilding.com inspire you to reach your goals?

I have to give a shout-out to my old college friend who brought me on board here at Bodybuilding.com. I feel so fortunate to be able to combine my fitness passion with design.

I couldn't have imagined a career that would fit better for me! I am so thankful for the opportunity he provided for me!

Have you inspired others with your new look and attitude?

I hope so! My social life is very workout-oriented - I am always asking friends to go for a hike or meet me at the gym. Everyone has to find their own fitness niche, and I hope I help create an environment that makes working out fun!

What is your favorite feature on the Bodybuilding.com website?

So many things! I love our new store platform - our recent changes have made it so easy to find the right supplements tailored to my specific goals.

I also love the SuperSite. We are always publishing amazing articles that help educate me, inspire me, and push me to keep on going. Even on the weekends, I always check the latest and greatest article from the SuperSite.

The SuperSite helps Kelly stay super cut.

How does Bodybuilding.com help to motivate/support you?

Working here, I am inspired every day - either by fellow co-workers or featured athletes on our site.

Does practicing the bodybuilding lifestyle improve the productivity of Bodybuilding.com? If so, how?

Absolutely! There is so much to be said for productivity when you are living a healthy lifestyle! I am so thrilled to be working for a company where I don't get quizzical looks when I go for a lunchtime run! I come back refreshed and energized and I love that my co-workers support that.

What are your future goals? Do you think working for BB.com will help you reach them?

I will always have the greatest support system here at work with any goal I aim to achieve! And I know that if I need help getting there, or I have questions along the way, I have so many resources available. All I have to do is ask! I feel pretty lucky!
