Tell us a little about yourself. What is your position at How long have you worked here?

I will have worked here as a product designer since March of 2010.

What was your workout/fitness/nutrition level before working at

I've always been active, going to yoga, running, and doing classes at the gym when I could fit it in. However, since working at, fitness has become a way of life rather than just another activity.

What does your workout routine consist of now?

My goal is to do at least 60 minutes of something active each day. I try to do a little bit of everything. I go to hot yoga about three times per week and different classes at the gym here and there.

However, one of the biggest differences in my routine since working at
has been the inclusion of weight
training in my weekly routine. I now
work out with weights about three
times per week.

I also play pala (Basque racquetball) as well as dance. I'm the girls' dance director for the Oinkari Basque dancers, so in addition to weekly performances, we practice four hours every Sunday.

Although I'd never call myself a runner, I try to sign up for as many races as possible, recently about one per month.

This upcoming year will be my fifth Robie Creek.

How does the environment influence your health, fitness, and appearance goals?

Not only am I inspired to be the best version of myself, but supplies me with the tools.

I have access to the best information online as well as many people within the office who can answer any fitness, supplement, or nutrition-related questions I might have.

What are your co-workers like?

My co-workers are amazing. In the
Product Design department, we have
a very supportive and encouraging culture.

Did someone from inspire you to reach your goals?

Honestly, every person I work with at inspires me in one way or another.

Whether it be their passion, work ethic, dedication, or a transformation, I feel lucky to be surrounded by such great people!

Have you inspired others with your new look and attitude?

I hope so! My husband has taken his fitness to a new level. He now wakes up every morning and drags me out of bed.

Since working out together, he not only lifts, but runs. He actually did Robie Creek with me. Not in my wildest dreams did I think he would voluntarily run this race-and then beat me!
