Tell us a little about yourself. What is your position at BB.com? How long have you worked here?

I am a very active girl, passionate about health and fitness and taking care of my body. I grew up playing competitive soccer and once I was out of high school I stayed active with hiking, running, yoga, pilates, and dance.

The last 4 years I have been focusing on my yoga practice, getting my Yoga Alliance certification, and finding my passion. It has helped me overcome so much; keeping me focused, at peace, energized, compassionate and loving towards myself and others.

Now I am more active than I have ever been, along with practicing various types of yoga four times a week, I run hills, have started weight training, and Deep Dance.

I have been with Bodybuilding.com for a year and half and currently work in Customer Service as part of the Quality Assurance team. It is so rare to be in a job that you truly believe in and are passionate about.

I feel so fortunate to be one of those lucky ones that genuinely loves my job and the company I work for. Life couldn't be better!

What was your workout/fitness/nutrition level before working at BB.com?

Before working at Bodybuilding.com I avoided lifting weights because I gain muscle so easily and I was afraid of getting "bulky." I was mostly focused on my yoga practice 4-5 days a week along with staying active outside with hiking and running hills.

Boise is by far the best place to be active and fit outside, you can step outside and be in the hills or running by the river in 5 minutes. I would occasionally venture to the gym but would just hop on a cardio machine and do some ab work.

It wasn't until Bodybuilding.com when I became more serious about running and completed my first 5k and 10k alongside my co-workers, and a treacherous 10 mile mountain run with my sister! BB.com is great about sponsoring teams to participate in these events.

While working at Bodybuilding.com I have been working towards completing my National Yoga Alliance Teaching Certification and am almost finished!

I also decided to embrace my naturally muscular frame (thank you momma!) and hit the gym hard 5 days a week to work towards reaching my goal of competing in my first show in 2012!

How does the Bodybuilding.com environment influence your health, fitness and appearance goals?

First off, it's hard not to be motivated working at Bodybuilding.com, every day I am surrounded by amazing people reaching new heights and transforming their bodies and minds. It is contagious!

This environment has made me feel more energized than ever and want to continue to push myself to achieve more; to see what this body of mine is capable of!

What are your co-workers like?

Amazing! My co-workers are some of my closest friends. Everyone is so supportive, encouraging, positive, and energetic that you can't help but feel uplifted by those around you.

They are a creative and diverse group but all have one thing in common, leading fit and active lifestyles. Here you can find fitness competitors, powerlifters, marathon runners, soccer and basketball players, triathletes, rugby players etc... and even yogis like me!

"Cheers!" to being fit AND awesome.

Did someone from Bodybuilding.com inspire you to reach your goals?

There are so many people who inspire me to reach my goals...where to start!? Just to name a few: HackSquat Heather, Jack3d Jesse, MMA Mckyle, Jammin Josh, and Dazzling Danielle have all been so inspiring with their own accomplishments and helpful in reaching my goals.

Getting to be a part of and watch Anaerobic Andrew's transformation has truly inspired me, without his encouragement I wouldn't be where I am today.

Also, the support of my workout partner Lipotropic Lindsey has been indispensible; she is fun, motivating and has me looking forward to waking up at 5:30am to workout with her!

Have you inspired others with your new look and attitude?

If I have, that would be amazing!

What is your favorite feature on the BB.com website?

My favorite feature would definitely have to be our "Transformation of the Week", spotlighting our member's amazing transformation and journeys to improving their bodies and more importantly their lives.

Every Monday I look forward to reading through each and every transformation and seeing the impact our company has had on them and all that they have accomplished. It inspires me every day.

Bodybuilding.com helps motivate and support me every step of the way in living a healthy lifestyle. Every day I come to work to co-workers who are walking the walk, asking about your goals, supporting one another by pushing each other to achieve more and keeping one another accountable. It would be hard not to want to achieve greatness here.

Does practicing the bodybuilding lifestyle improve the productivity of Bodybuilding.com? If so, how?

Definitely. Starting my day out by hitting the gym, and making smart, healthy choices with my diet throughout the day gives me energy, confidence and focus.
