[ Q ] Tell us a little about yourself. What is your position at BB.com? How long have you worked here?

    I started working for Bodybuilding.com in January of 2008 as the Operations Quality Manager. My primary responsibilities are to lead operational process improvement initiatives as well as oversee our Data Analytics department.

[ Q ] What was your workout/fitness/nutrition level before working at BB.com?
dot

    Prior to working at Bodybuilding.com, I lived a very active lifestyle. I worked out at a local gym (or at my previous work's onsite gym facility) a minimum of 5 days per week. I also was active in competitive sports (i.e. football, basketball, and soccer), and engaged in quite a few other athletic based hobbies.

    As far as nutrition goes, I would have to say that although I was consciously aware of my nutritional intake, I did not necessary regulate what I ate.

READING THIS WORKOUT LOG
Drop Sets - Also known as strip sets, drop sets involve the immediate reduction of weight between sets with no rest. This will thoroughly burn out a muscle.

Triple Drop Sets - 3 drop sets supersetted together.

[ Q ] Did someone from Bodybuilding.com inspire you to reach your goals?

    Honestly, my real inspiration came from the daily transformation success stories I would read about both on Bodybuilding.com's SuperSite and within BodySpace.

    As a competitive athlete, these were all the motivation I needed to start a 12 week transformation of my own and prove to myself that I had the drive, dedication, and self-discipline to achieve similar results. I would like to especially thank Kris Gethin for the integral role he played as my mentor/coach/trainer throughout my transformation.

[ Q ] Does practicing the bodybuilding lifestyle improve the productivity of Bodybuilding.com? If so, how?

    Research has shown that exercise during the workday improves job performance. One of the awesome benefits that is offered at Bodybuilding.com is a gym reimbursement program (company pays $35 per month towards employee gym membership dues with proof of attendance).

    In addition, employees are encouraged to take an extra 10-15 minute exercise break throughout the day (i.e. take a walk outside, etc.) in attempt to recharge and return to work in a more productive state.

    My goal for the summer is to effectively manage weight training, cardio, and nutritional intake in order to maintain less than 10% bodyfat with a target weight of 185lbs. I know that, whatever my fitness goal is, Bodybuilding.com is there for me!
