[ JH ] What do you do for a living besides train and compete?

[ DL ] I run a successful personal training business and I have a business designing Couture clothes for dogs called HauteDogThreads.

[ JH ] Can you tell us what your training schedule is like?

[ DL ] I train five to six days per week. I do early morning cardio and mid-afternoon training. I divide my body parts up into specific days based on my goals for that year.

[ JH ] You are getting ready for this year's Olympia. What are your goals?

[ DL ] My goal is to be better than I was at the Arnold. I have accomplished this already. I have been training for this Olympia since March.

[ JH ] Do you think you have what it takes to knock the current champ out of the top spot to take the title at the 2009 Olympia?

[ DL ] Iris is clearly amazing and she has proven that, but I will fight for it and will not give up until I do.

[ JH ] Can you tell us about your current diet?

[ DL ] My diet has been strict since March. With that said, it has allowed me to make my gains and easily get into superb condition for this show. I rotate my carbs and fats around. Each week it changes slightly. It's nothing fancy. It's very simple.

[ JH ] What supplements do you take religiously?

[ DL ] Glutamine is my friend. I love the tablets and the powder and it tastes good too. I do take all needed vitamins and minerals religiously, and I drink lots of protein drinks when needed.

[ JH ] Do you feel the general public stereotypes bodybuilding in general?

If so, what do you say to people who might be turned off by a muscular woman?

[ DL ] I believe we live in a world of stereotyping. That said, I try to educate those who have an interest and let them judge for themselves based on my actions.

[ JH ] Do people look at you funny because you are beautiful and have a beautiful physique?

[ DL ] Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I will say that people do comment that they are more accepting of a muscular physique on a woman with a feminine look (when you are talking about this much muscle).

[ JH ] Do you train yourself or do you have a coach for this year's Olympia?

[ DL ] I train myself each day but my coach, whom I just adore, is George Farah. I can't say enough about him, but I will say his passion runs thick, and his sincerity and dedication to ones dreams is addictive. He is an amazing soul.

[ JH ] Describe what you looked like before you started working out?

[ DL ] Wow! I weighed 112 lbs. at 20 years old. I was very skinny. I had a nice frame, but I was too skinny. I think I ate a bagel a day.
