Background
My name is Chad Bartel. I was born on March 21, 1989. I am a senior at the University of Texas at Arlington. I am majoring in Biology and I plan on attending medical school in the fall of 2011. I have currently been attending interviews in Texas for medical school. I graduated from Grace Preparatory Academy in Arlington, Texas in 2007. Following high school, I attended Mountain View College in Dallas, Texas where I received my Associate Degree in Science. In 2009, I completed the EMT-B course and became a nationally certified Emergency Medical Technician. I grew up in a Christian home where both of my parents were involved with my upbringing. I have attended Grand Prairie Bible Church since I was 2 years old. I am an outspoken believer, and I try and incorporate my faith in everything that I do. My biggest struggle was overcoming a broken neck that I sustained while playing high school football. I received news that I had a fractured vertebra, ruptured disk, and a pinched spinal cord. My 1 year journey to recovery is what strengthened my faith and made me the man I am today. In August of 2009 I married my high school sweet heart, Helen Eubanks. We have been married for almost 1 year and she is the love of my life. We currently reside in Arlington, Texas. My hobbies include weight-training, basketball, racquetball, tennis, jogging, ping pong, playing poker, going to church, and spending time with my wife, family and friends. I am a full-time student, so a lot of my time is spent studying. My bodyspace name is "allstarcdb". I am open to discussing any details through e-mail or messages.
