dot
[ Q ] How long have you been visiting Bodybuilding.com and using BodySpace?
dot

I have been using BodySpace and Bodybuilding.com for over a year and a half now.

[ Q ] What do you do for a living?

I am a Senior Airman in the USAF, so basically I take orders. I love my job.

[ Q ] What is it like living in Las Vegas?
dot

I never get bored. There's always something to do. Not just the strip either. Las Vegas is home to the very beautiful Red Rock Mountains. So pretty.

dot
[ Q ] You've made an amazing transformation. What made you decide to get into such great shape?
dot

I went to the 2008 Mr. Olympia Expo and my eyes were opened to a world that I never knew I longed to be part of.

It ignited a passion for nutrition and fitness that I never knew I had. And it helped having people in my life believe in me and support my decision to pursue this lifestyle.

[ Q ] When did you start lifting, and where?
dot

I started lifting 2 years ago at the Nellis AFB gym. Before that I helped my mom lift weights on the patio. My mom and I are total meat heads.

[ Q ] When did you compete in your first contest and how was the experience? Any contests coming up in the future?
dot

My first show was July 11th, the Natural Bodybuilding Championships in Las Vegas. I didn't do so well. I winged the whole experience. I loved every minute though. I want to go pro. I have big dreams and the drive to get there.

dot
[ Q ] What is the most important thing you've learned since you started training?
dot

Nutrition is everything. Lifting is the fun and easy part. The diet is the challenge. I've been eating boring food for an exciting body.

Anytime someone asks me what I do for such a small tummy or tight legs I explain to them that I eat right. My first response isn't to brag about my squat stats.

[ Q ] What is your favorite supplement?
dot

My multivitamin. It's my foundation, so I know when ever I take my BCAA's or glutamine, L-carnitine, protein, or whatever I take to enhance my performance, it's going to work properly.

I believe you have to have the basics - the bricks, if you will - before you start trying to put up walls (cheesy analogy).

[ Q ] If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

Home. I'm not stationed too far from home, but there's nothing like family and there's no place like home.

[ Q ] If I looked in your refrigerator, what would I find?

All natural peanut butter, spinach, liquid egg whites, cottage cheese, defrosting ground turkey, bacon, asparagus (I love fresh asparagus), skim milk, and cheese. My freezer is jammed packed with chicken, turkey, and some steaks.

[ Q ] Any final comments or anything else you want to tell other people on BodySpace and Bodybuilding.com?
dot

I find my greatest inspirations from BodySpace members. It's a wonderful melting pot of information, personalities, and diet and training strategies.

I can't afford a personal trainer with what I get paid (but the job is worth it) so I use Bodybuilding.com to get me where I want to be.

I have managed to make all these changes with the help of BodySpace members and all the wonderful nutrition and training articles on this site.

And I would love to say thank you to all my friends who help motivate, push, and inspire me to never give up.
