How Did You Get Started?
I started working out in 1994 at 17 weighing 155 lbs. A year later I won my first teenage show. My first routine consisted of bench press supersetted with barbell curls. For an hour, I would do this 4 times a week. I didn't start to work legs until my second year. I was lucky in that when I finally got into a decent gym it had more advanced lifters. Talking to these guys and reading Flex was my foundation. Also seeing them bench 400 lbs. and more provided all the motivation I needed.
What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?
I have tried many routines, the best way for me is to work my body over 6 days. One part per day. 5 - 7 reps offseason/ 9 - 12 precontest. Sticking to the basics.
