All-Out 8-Week Mass Attack. No Holds Barred.
Journal update - A Week Off - 02-04-02 - 02-08-02

I spent weeks planning this program and the last freaking thing I ever planned for was to get sick. Damn! Last week my little girl was sick and through all my attempts to not catch it, I got it anyway. It started out like a common cold but by Friday night I was hurting bad. I ended up with a little fluid in my lungs and ran a fever for 3 days. Now I am on the mend and feeling much better after loading up on the medicine. I am taking the entire week off from training and supplementing and just concentrating on getting back to 100% for Monday. I don't want to waste a week so I am extending this program by one week to make up for this week that was ruined.

I have cut my meals down to 3-4 a day. I am eating a high carb and a moderate protein diet this week. I need all the energy I can get and I want to be fully recharged for Monday. I am not taking any supplements this week either. I took them through the weekend but decided against wasting during the course of the week and with all the medicine I have been on I didn't want to risk any adverse effects with mixing them.

Nothing pisses me off more that having a set back when I am seeing such good gains. But I just got to roll with the punches and bust my butt the next 6 weeks to meet my gains. I know everyone around me will be glad when I can start training again too. When I am not training I get a little ill acting then throw being sick on top of it and I am not a very friendly person. This Sucks.

On the Mend,
