All-Out 8-Week Mass Attack. No Holds Barred. Well after a week of being sick and trying to recoup all was going well. But then my pregnant wife started going into premature labor about 12 weeks too early so I have spent most of my weekend at the hospital including last night. As most of you know the last place you want to be to try and get a good nights sleep is a hospital. So after waking up at 5:30 am after getting around 3 hours of total sleep I was not in the workout mood but I dug down deep inside and pushed myself through a pretty tough chest and tricep workout this morning. I would have put it off until later in the day but I didn't know if my wife would be released today or not. I restarted taking my supplements and eating on my usual schedule yesterday so that I would be ready to hit it hard today. As expected I was weaker than normal but I usually am after a week off due to illness. I started off with some standing calf raises for 3 sets of 12 slow and really squeezing at the top of each rep. After warming up for a few minutes it was time to hit my chest.
Flat bench - 2x6 - 135lbs, 1x4 - 200lbs, 1x4 - 245lbs, 1x 4 - 270lbs, 1x6 - 200lbs
Each set was performed with perfect form and a 4 second negative. When it rains it pours, Todd Blue Recommend this article to a friend by e-mail here!
