All-Out 8-Week Mass Attack. No Holds Barred.
Day # 1 of 56 - 01-14-01

I woke up this morning with a real since of urgency. To make the gains and meet the goals I have set for myself I have no room for a wasted day. So at 4:35 this morning I was pumped. After getting dressed and watching a few minutes of "Battle for the Olympia '99" I was pumped and ready to go. I highly recommend you check out Bodybuilding.com's wide selection of videos. They are a great tool for motivation and keeping focused.

I hit calves this morning first.

Donkey raises - 3x20 - 240lbs
Seated raises - 3x15 - 150lbs
Toe raises on the leg press - 3x20 - 400+lbs (no idea what the sled weighs)

After warming up for a few minutes I was ready to blast my shoulders.

Seated barbell military press - 2x10 - 95lbs (warm up)
Standing military press - 1x8 - 135lbs, 1x6 - 185lbs, 1x4 - 205lbs, 1x4 - 225lbs, 1x8 - 155lbs
Seated dumbbell press - 1x10 - 60lbs, 1x10 - 70lbs
Cable Upright row - 1x12 - 90lbs, 1x12 - 110lbs (I usually do this with the barbell but I just don't feel the negative like with a cable so I will alternate this from week to week)
Dumbbell side laterals - 1x10 - 35lbs, 1x10 - 40lbs, 1x6 - 50lbs
Bent laterals - 2x10 - 70lbs, I preformed one more drop set going from 70lbs to 40lbs doing 10 reps with each.
Front raises - 2x12 - 85lbs cambered bar
Cable side laterals - 1x10 - 20lbs, 1x10 - 30lbs, preformed one last drop set from 30lbs to 10lbs going 8 reps each. This is the best finishing move I have found for delts. Nothing pumps up my shoulders like they do.
Barbell shrugs - 1x10 - 135lbs, 1x10 - 225lbs, 1x10 - 315lbs, 1x10 - 405lbs
Barbell shrugs behind the back - 2x15 - 225lbs
Dumbbell shrugs - 2x10 - 120lbs, performed one-drop set from 120lbs to 60lbs for 20 reps each.

Needless to say as I am typing this my shoulders are burnt.

I also started with the Megabol-X today. Couldn't really tell a difference in anything yet, but I wasn't expecting any thing noticeable until tomorrow. I am anxious to see if it has kicked in by then. I however could feel my pumps to be a little fuller and last a little longer than normal. I will continue with my meal and supplement schedule that is outlined in my "Pushing the Envelope" article. Now the rest of the day will be geared toward growing.

I do feel that by keeping this daily journal I will be able to monitor and tweak my workouts and meals as needed for optimum growth. But with the all the positive feedback I have seen from Big Cat's stack I could even surpass my goals.

Until tomorrow,

I will be filming a small video tomorrow that will be posted to my home page hopefully by early next week.
