We always want to suggest active rest, rather than just lying on the couch all day complaining about how sore you are.

Remember that active rest doesn't have to be a walk in the park. Simple tasks—gardening, housekeeping, honey-dos, bike rides, or a day at the lake—can still burn a few calories and give you some stress relief.
