Chicken Pot Stickers

  • 1 lb ground chicken breast
  • 1-1/3 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 tbsp reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 6 6-inch-square egg-roll wrappers
  • 1 tbsp dark sesame oil
  • 1-1/2 cup reduced-sodium, nonfat chicken broth
  1. In a large bowl, combine first four ingredients.
  2. Mix well; divide into eight equal portions.
  3. Center each portion in a wrapper.
  4. Moisten wrapper edges with water and pull up corners to meet in the center.
  5. Pinch together edges to seal.
  6. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  7. Saute stuffed wrappers flat-side down 2 minutes, until golden-brown on the bottom.
  8. Add broth, cover, and steam 5 minutes, until chicken is done.
