Some of the folks behind the Bodybuilding.com Fitness Expo talk about their favorite moments from BFE history!
Fantasmigorical
Sergio Oliva - The legend
Corey St. Clair & the strong guys are ridiculous.
I have attached the video...
Busy.
I thought it was very cool to have Rich Franklin there 2 years ago--he was very nice and people were EXCITED to see him.

The bikini contest or any of the women doing their routines is always cool to see.
Um...Jeremy being ridiculously drunk last year and wandering off. Or the year that Bill signed the guitar in the VIP room "Bill Baldry #24" with a sharpie and got kicked out.
When Ryan DeLuca and BBC donated money to the AHA in honor of Jayden so that we could meet our goal--he announced it at the expo during his speech.
Ultimate.
The Fake Austin Powers - he looked and sounded like the real thing - he was the emcee one year and he dragged my best friend Kat and me onstage to do some Austin Powers Dance. It was beyond ridiculous. Kat and I just kept looking at each other daring the other one to run off stage first. We wanted to die.

I'm going to have to say the bikini/fitness model competitions we hold. But then again, I may be biased because I'm running the Miss Bikini BodySpace Competition this year.
When one of our "Transformation of the Year" winners drank a wee bit much and had to be held up on stage to receive their award. I was laughing so hard I couldn't even watch the acceptance speech they tried to give. I'm laughing just thinking about it.
I'm totally stumped on this question. I honestly can't say. There are so many great moments, and I'm not just saying that. I can tell you that I'm REALLY looking forward to Nick Scott's (the founder of wheelchair bodybuilding) presentation this year. I have a feeling it's going to be truly moving.
Enjoyable.
That has to be Jay Cutler, from last year's BFE. I had predicted that Jay Cutler would place second at the 2008 Mr. Olympia, and Jay noticed my prediction on a forum post. So Jay, with his sense of humor, hounded me and discussed the situation with me, until I was persuaded on his behalf. Truth is, Jay is the upmost professional and all around good guy, with a great attitude, and always respects people. He enjoys being a top bodybuilder and meeting every fan and person out there at the BFE. Even when he is at a restaurant, or just walking somewhere, he takes the time to sign an autograph and take a picture.
There are always great moment, such as when Jerome Ferguson did his "Who Let the Dog Out" routine, but I always enjoy the bikini contests!
Ah.... there are quite a few, as being a photographer, I enjoy those moments, but my favorite is when one particular person got a little too tipsy, and gave me some great photographs backstage. She was on the couch, hanging from the ceiling, near the bar and much more! I can't wait to see if we can get more pictures this year too! Also, I now know where Ryan DeLuca keeps his wallet during the BFE too, in a special place!
I always enjoy the whole event, but especially when I come there and see the line outside the door almost two blocks long, because I know that it will be a fun event. The band, the organization, the party, the vendors who come out there to give out samples to the people who come, and it is always a full house! The people are also extremely nice, which is great! But my favorite moments - are when I get to talk too and hang out with friends from Bodybuilding.com and various vendors that I have made on these various trips. Just catching up and having a good time is great!
Raucous.
The most memorable is coming up this year.
Austin Powers.
The annual Mr. Puniverse.
Last appearance by Jesse Marunde.
Awesome!
Austin Powers Impersonator. That dude stayed in character the entire time and was spot on.
Mr. Puniverse is the best stage act without a doubt.
The employee who won an award but needed help standing. Then proceeded to do a photo shoot with "Jiminy Glick" backstage.
The greatest moment has to be founding the WTF at the BFE. The Inaugural World Thumb Federation event saw Rich Franklin, Jay Cutler, Toney Freeman and many others thumb wrestle throughout the night.
Rad.
Bill Romanowski - I am a big sports fan and he use to be one of my favorite players growing up! He is one of the best Linebackers in NFL history!
Man, this is a tough one. I like all of them! But I would say either Mr. Puniverse or the Swim Suit Competition of course! I am really excited for a lot of the items we have going on this year! I think it will be the best line up of events yet at the BFE!
Jamie Whinery. That is all I have to say! She had a lot of fun last year!
Employee of the year! Each year we get to choose 1 person from Bodybuilding.com and really let them know how important they have been to the success of Bodybuilding.com and how much we appreciate them! I love being able to have them get on stage and that we are able to do this in front of a lot of Bodybuilding.com peers and a local audience!
Unsurpassed.
I love partying with all the vendors (Scott, Chris, Ryan, Mike, etc.) but most memorable is probably Rich Franklin because Jeremy was trying to convince Rich all night that he wasn't as tough as T-Boz (his best friend from high school).
Mr. Puniverse.
Jeremy acting like a WWF wrestler and accidently knocking out a rep by dropping an elbow on his head.
Bill signing the limited edition Ozzy Osborne guitar in the VIP lounge.
Fun.
The fake Austin Powers. He was awesome.
Strongman Demo & Bikini contest.
Last year there was a funny girl from our company that got a little wild and out...
Too many to pick a specific one, every year has had its own memorable moment.
