Pose Down Magazine evolved in 2006. Bob and Laura Johnson founders and operators of this publication have focused on spotlighting NPC events for the Amateur and National Level competitors. Shows are featured as well as articles on competitors all after a specific goal.

Power lifting is also covered with the intentions of focusing on events, qualifiers and articles featuring accomplishments by athletes within the Power lifting sport.

Pose Down Magazine features columns written by both Pro Level and National level competitors. Our passion for the sport shows within the publication and gratitude goes out to all who have taken part in Pose Down Magazine.

With this said, we have started a tradition of "Giving back to the Athlete". We have given several awards in 2008 to the Amateur level competitors, ranging from "Best Poser" to "Most Muscular".
